Design - I love the design of this keyboard dock. It's very compact and nice looking. It has a dual color scheme, with a white upper layer with the keypad and a lower black layer. The keyboard itself is not full size, more like a netbook size (maybe 90% of full size). It's great for me since it allows it to be compact and fits the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in landscape mode, but it may be too small for those with large hands or chubby fingers. The Tab fits in the dock quite securely but does not lock down and if you tilt it forwards there is some movement (so you don't want to do that!). The angle is not adjustable, but is a good angle for using on a table and I often keep it in the dock when in lying in bed and think it'll be great for watching movies on a plane. It also has nice... When I need to do a lot of typing in Google Docs or QuickOffice or Documents to Go I need a physical, tangible keyboard. Having this keyboard to go along with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 32GB I have had little need to revert to my laptop for anything. I could create long documents by typing on the glass but I'm a 'touch typist' and having the physical keyboard makes me much more efficient. I had NO trouble getting this keyboard to work with my Galaxy Tab and it is no doubt because I read the directions before getting started (yes I'm talking to you Impetigo). The directions clearly state that the input method on the tablet should be the Samsung keyboard. When first docked a popup message will even ask you to change the default keyboard to be the Samsung keyboard. The message here is when you follow the manufacturers instructions then things tend to work the way they were designed. The... Read more 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful: Turns the tab into a netbook, This review is from: Samsung ECR-K14AWEGSTA Galaxy Tab 10.1 Keyboard Dock (Full-Size) (Personal Computers) I got this keyboard to use the tab (Samsung 10.1) as a netbook to conduct work while sitting in the jury duty pool. This keyboard is great and was easy to type on for hours. The only issue with it is its quirky nature to set the keyboard to the Android keyboard, then request you switch it to the Samsung keyboard (regardless of whether you set it this way initially or not). If you do not have it set to the Samsung keyboard it will either not respond to keypresses or certain keys won't work as desired (e.g. capslock won't toggle or one keypress will produce a string of letters). I simply have gotten in the habit of pulling up the keyboard menu(using the keyboard key on the dock) every time I start using the dock, switching to Samsung keyboard in the menu, and hitting the key on the dock to minimize the on-screen keyboard again.
